ទីក្រុងវៀងច័ន្ទន៍ ប្រទេសឡាវ នាថ្ងៃទី ៣ ខែតុលា ឆ្នាំ ២០២៤ ឧកញ៉ា ប៉ិច បូឡែន ប្រធានសមាគមសហគ្រិនវ័យក្មេងកម្ពុជា (YEAC) និងជាប្រធានក្រុមប្រឹក្សាសហគ្រិនវ័យក្មេងអាស៊ាន (AYEC) ប្រចាំកម្ពុជា បានដឹកនាំប្រតិភូចំនួន ២០ រូប ចូលរួមកម្មវិធីមហោស្រពសហគ្រិនវ័យក្មេងអាស៊ានលើកទី៩ ឆ្នាំ២០២៤ (AYEC)។

Vientiane Capital, Laos PDR, 3rd October 2024 – Oknha Pech Bolen, President of the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Cambodia (YEAC) and head of the ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Council (AYEC) Cambodia, led 20 delegates from Cambodia to participate in the 9th ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs (AYE) Carnival 2024 in Vientiane, Laos PDR.

AYEC is the official voice of young entrepreneurs in the ASEAN policy-making process. It was successfully proposed by the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) to the ASEAN Leaders in 2015 and launched later that year in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. AYEC consists of a network of government-endorsed young entrepreneur associations from all 10 ASEAN Member States. This is an annual event, and the next carnival will be held in Malaysia, marking the 10th Anniversary of AYEC.

During the event, there were many keynote speeches by experienced professionals and experts from ASEAN, including panel discussions on a variety of topics such as investment challenges and opportunities, the digital drivers of ASEAN, and collaboration for regional economic integration. A white paper on building an ASEAN ecosystem to strengthen inclusive youth entrepreneurship, as well as discussions on business trends for young entrepreneurs in the digital era, were also presented.

Moreover, YEAC, represented by Mr. Lay Kimsuor, Vice President of YEAC, signed a bilateral MoU with the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Laos (YEAL) to promote business collaboration between the two countries. Throughout the event, YEAC delegates actively strengthened relationships and expanded their network with ASEAN young entrepreneurs during the AYE Carnival 2024 Gala Dinner, fostering meaningful connections.

The AYE Carnival concluded with a handover ceremony from Laos to Malaysia, the host for the 10th Anniversary of the AYE Carnival in 2025.
