Executive Director

Young Entrepreneurs Association of Cambodia (YEAC) is a volunteer-driven non-profit organization which was launched in September 2009 by a team of passionate Cambodian young entrepreneurs from various sectors of businesses in Cambodia. Its mandate is to support and empower Cambodian young entrepreneurs to enhance youth entrepreneurship and success of youth-owned businesses by creating a platform for networking, sharing, learning, and synergizing business opportunities, thereby contributing to productive employments and economic development that build the next generation economy for Cambodia. We are currently looking for a young, dynamic and dedicated candidate to fulfill a position as Executive Director. The Executive Director is responsible for the overall administration, operations and planning, as well as outreach and community service for « YEAC ». These responsibilities are based upon a detailed knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of leadership level.

Job Description

    Key Roles and Responsibility

    Administrative, Operations & Planning

    • Maintain control over funds provided for the operations. Monitor operating expenses to assure cost effective operations and purchasing procedures.
    • Prepare and present a monthly report on operations for the president which describes accomplishments and potential problem areas or projects. Provide a monthly report of expenses and income for president. 
    • Prepare and present to president for approval a yearly expense and financial budget with extended projections for three and five years.
    • Interpret, implement and enforce policies and procedures that have been issued or established by President and Board of Directors.
    • Oversee development and implementation of training for all staff, and volunteers.
    • Oversee development and implementation of operating rules and procedures for member usage of facilities, equipment and channel time.
    • Oversee the maintenance and management of all association’s assets.
    • Develop long range planning for existing and new projects to serve for the benefits for members and communities


    • Supervise and provide leadership to the staff.
    • Interpret, implement and enforce personnel policies as determined by president or Board of Directors.
    • Establish and maintain procedures for evaluating staff on a continuing basis.

    Association Service for members

    • Develop and implement programs designed to benefit members and communities.
    • Actively seek out alternative sources of funding.
    • Maintain a high level of visibility and direct lines of communications with the members, communities, networks, and government.
    • Supervise and provide leadership to the staff.
    • Interpret, implement and enforce personnel policies as determined by president or Board of Directors.
    • Establish and maintain procedures for evaluating staff on a continuing basis.

    • Ensure well-dissemination of YEAC’s brand image in business community and other networks
    • Ensure up-to-date regulation/policy of government and keeping members updated

Job Requirements

    Knowledge & Skill

    • Bachelor degree in Management (MBA is preferable)
    • Knowledge of integrated marketing & communication
    • Knowledge of leadership in company, association or organization
    • Knowledge of services-selling, client management, & business communication
    • Knowledge of business development & services development
    • Sound of English Language & Computer literacy


    • 2-year in leadership, or equivalent
    • Dealing with variety of YEAC members’ objection and pressures
    • Dealing with YEAC Team in developing association projects and action plan
    • Dealing with members inquiry and association services delivery

    • Very good in interpersonal relationship
